Volkl has done it again with the Volkl Tigershark 12 Foot Power Switch Skis with iPT 12.0 Piston Bindings. Try to say that three times fast, or even once for that matter. A big name for a powerful ski. The Volkl Tigershark 12 Foot Power Switch features a waist of 79mm, Extended Double Grip construction, full Sensorwood core, and 2 sheets of titanium. Built for good all-mountain skiers who also want to carve the groomed at high speeds while still being able to play in the softer snow.

The Power Switch was developed for the Tigershark skis. The Power Switch consists of dual carbon fiber rods encased in full-length longitudinal "tuning tubes" inside the chambers of the Extended Double Grip construction. Moving the switch from off to on compresses elastomer-regulated springs at the front of each rod, increasing the ski's power. Turn it on if the skier wants a lot of power, getting the most rebound and energy from the ski. Turn it off, and the skier can relax, take it easy, and just cruise.
