With the same construction of the Tigershark 12 skis, the Volkl Tigershark 10 Foot Power Switch skis are just a slimmer version. The Volkl Tigershark 10 Foot Power Switch Skis raises the performance bar for skiers who want to ski fast all day on firm snow. The 10 Footer has a shape for high speed carving, and the Power Switch to allow the skier to decide how hard he wants to ski.

The Power Switch was developed for the Tigershark skis. The Power Switch consists of dual carbon fiber rods encased in full-length longitudinal "tuning tubes" inside the chambers of the Extended Double Grip construction. Moving the switch from off to on compresses elastomer-regulated springs at the front of each rod, increasing the ski's power. Turn it on if the skier wants a lot of power, getting the most rebound and energy from the ski. Turn it off, and the skier can relax, take it easy, and just cruise.
