The Rossignol SAS S1 Howell skis share the same footprint as that of the S2 Jago, however the Rossi S1 skis are a full cap construction ski unlike the S2 which is a sidewall construction ski. This makes the Rossi S1 skis better for lighter weight skiers that just do not have the strength or weight to push a heavier ski.

Mounting Point Thank you for your purchase of the Freestyle/Freeride skis. Rossignol offers a variety of mounting points on the skis in their factory collection. They range from a factory suggested mid-sole mark to core center. This is the way it works, the more park skiing you do, the further ahead you want to be. The more freeride skiing you do the closer to the mid-sole mark you should be. Most of our customers have gone with Standard for Freeride and Standard for Park.
