New for this year is the Double Helix. Both sizes feature our Liberty Hard Core, composed of bamboo laminate, UHMW sidewalls, and an elongated tip and tail. The Double Helix was designed by our team riders who wanted an over-sized version of the Helix. At 121mm underfoot, the Double Helix is truly a beast for stomping big airs in deep powder in the backcountry.

The Liberty Double Helix Skis may be new for the 2008 - 2009 ski season but they are already creating a huge buzz around the industry. Many testers have raved about both the Helix and Double Helix skis for their versatility in all snow conditions. The Double Helix is a wider version of the Helix designed for stomping big airs in deep powder.

Mounting Point Thank you for your purchase of the Freestyle/Freeride skis. Liberty offers a variety of mounting points on the skis in their factory collection. They range from a factory suggested mid-sole mark to dead center. The distance between the two is 7cm. This is the way it works, the more park skiing you do, the further ahead you want to be. The more freeride skiing you do the closer to the mid-sole mark you should be. Most of our customers have gone to +3cm from mid-sole for a good combination of freeride and freestyle.
