The 2009 - 2010 K2 Extreme Ski is the most functional in-bounds twin tip ski that K2 has ever built. With an all new ABSorb Hybrid Sidewall and a 184cm length the K2 Extreme ski has the confidence and stability to rip any terrain and it has the torsional strength and durability to handle the toughest of landings and the most punishing abuse in the park. Emulate PK Hunder's double cork 1080 or just bust out some of the ol' moves on the top sheet. Remember to always keep it Extreme. The K2 Extreme skis is versatile outside of the park so if you are looking for a great park ski that will allow you to ski all-mountain the K2 Extreme is a great choice.

K2 did add the option of getting the K2 Extreme Skis with the Marker Griffon Schizofrantic Binding System to make the ski even more versatile depending on the conditions. The new binding system allows you to ski the park at centermount position and adjust back towards the midsole for better soft snow and all-mountain performance. No drilling required and up to twice the screw retention of regular bindings.

The K2 SchizoFrantic inserts allow for super fast mounting of the new K2/Marker Griffon Schizofrantic binding system without the need for any drilling. The Schizo binding itself uses the tested and proven Triple Pivot Elite toe and Inter Pivot Heel with an ultra lightweight, low stand height track and cable system that enables you to mount once and adjust a full 6cm along the ski. The insert patterns allow you to ski at the core center mark for optimal park and switch performance, or all the way back at a more traditional mounting location for powder or softer snow conditions. The increased surface area of the insert rings provides twice the pullout strength of standard binding screws. This new system is only offered on the HellBent, obSETHed, Kung Fujas, and Extreme.
