The K2 Xplorer is soon to be one of K2's best selling skis thanks to its versatility in variable terrain and snow. The 2010 is the same as the 2009 K2 Xplorer but with an updated graphic this ski will sell quickly thanks to its immediate success last season. Being the widest ski in the Apache line gives it an advantage in soft snow to help you track out the resort in those deep powder days but enough sidecut to lay down trenches across the corduroy on these groomer days as well. The broad range of versatility and high performance comes from a unique combination of an 84mm waist, metal laminate cap construction and generous 17/16 progressive sidecut that allows it to perform well on both soft and hard conditions. The K2 Apache Xplorer is a great ski to replace your Recon as it has even more versatility.
