The 2012 Armada AK JJ Ski is not a ski that will be around long thanks to the amazing versatility that this ski has. We at Al's Ski Equipment Barn feel that the Armada AK JJ is one of the most versatile skis on the market today and it does not matter where in the world you live, you will love the versatility of the Armada AK JJ Skis. Featuring the patent pending ELF Shoe Tech Freeride Rocker (EST), the Armada JJ takes powder-specific concepts like rocker, camber, and variable sidecut and applies them to what might be the first true all-mountain powder ski. The Armada AK JJ has a rockered tip and tail, but camber underfoot. The patent pending 5 Dimensional design places the wider hinge points closer to the ski's center for better flotation in powder and enough sidecut to carve turns on hard packed snow. Such a unique design requires unique construction, provided seamlessly by the Hybrid AR 50 sidewall and core. JP and Julien are credited with having irrevocably changed skiing. Now they've irrevocably changed skis, too.The 2012 Armada AK JJ Skis are much like the design of the Armada JJ however coming in only a 195cm, wider dimensions, and a stiffer flex the AK JJ is built for big mountain skiers. Adam at Al's Ski Barn had a chance to use the AK JJ 195cm length ski this past Spring on the East Coast and it only took about 2 turns with the 18m turn radius for him to fall in love with the ski. With the ability to carve trenches on groomers and drop off the biggest cliffs with ease the 2012 Armada AK JJ is a ski that is ready to dominate the mountain. Even at 195cm's the AK JJ Skis actually ski much shorter and are very easy to maneuver everywhere on the mountain with ease!!
