The Elan Hyper Junior is a perfect ski for just about any young skier. The flex and sidecut on these junior skis has been specifically engineered to perform at a level that will not tax or restrict your child's skiing development. Elan knows that a young skier should not be making 21m radius turns at high speeds. The turn radius on these skis varies by size from 10.7 meters @ 130cm to 14,9 meters @ 150cm. These smaller turn radii will restrict their speed and make the skiing Much Safer!! The flex patterns have been set to a perfect mix of function and performance. A stiff ski can be hard to turn for a beginner skier, but a soft ski may not hold an edge on ice. Elan uses an integrated lifter plate in the binding area of the ski to add leverage to each turn and to give the ski stronger edge-hold. Beefing up the center of the ski will allow the ski to have a softer flex for easy turning and still maintain superior performance when a skier progress's. Simply put; You are more likely to have a happy skier at the end of the day!!
