The 2024 Rossignol Sender 106 Ti Plus is an aggressive freeride oriented ski geared towards those who want to push the boundaries of their skiing. With a wider underfoot 106-millimeter waist, these skis are meant to charge through powder, wind buff and all soft snow conditions. Let's start with the construction- made up of a Poplar wood core and two vertical strips of ABS Line Control Technology running down the ski (Or vertical struts) as well Tital Beam, and Damp Tech or rubber in the shovel as well as Carbon Alloy Matrix. So, there is a lot of technology going in to the ski and that results in fairly stiff and powerful stick. The shape of the Sender has a nice amount of rocker in the tip of the ski, while the tail is flatter and has minimum splay, which really gives it some nice edge contact to finish a turn. With this unique rocker profile and all of the technology that goes into this ski, you get a big mountain charger that can also hold its own on firmer snow due to being very damp and stable as well as lot of vibration dampening. With its width and tip rocker, you get a lot of float over softer and variable snow conditions, but its powerful as opposed to playful.
