The 2024 Liberty Origin 101 Skis is one of our favorite new one ski quiver skis and bamboo/carbon/Poplar core it is one of the most versatile skis period! If you want a ski that is playful and quick turning the Liberty Origin 101 is the ski for you.
With a huge performance window and the right width to be an everyday driver in bigger, snowier mountains, the Origin 101 hits the sweet spot. Plenty of float for deeper days, and the torsional rigidity to carve harder snow at high speed, the new Origin 101 is a tasty bamboo/carbon sandwich best enjoyed with friends. The Liberty Origin has a stiff and stable midsection mixed with a softer tip and tail to allow for easier absorption for better all terrain skiing.

VMT 1.0 Energetic & Light:
VMT 1.0 combines the natural liveliness of Liberty's signature bamboo and poplar wood core with the inherent power and stability of aluminum alloy. By laminating the metal vertically between full length bamboo stringers they increase the effect of the metal wiht out adding extra material or weight. The combination of energy return from the bamboo and power from the vertical metal is further enhanced by stretegic placement of precured carbon fiber strips along the top of the core where they help maintain directional stability and torsional rigidity.
