Al's Ski Equipment Barn is super excited to introduce the all new althete inspired ski from Blizzard the Canvas 108. Built to compete with the likes of the Line Bacon 108 and the Atomic Bent Chetler 110 skis, the Blizzard Canvas 108 Skis are unlike anything Blizzard has ever put out. If you want playful do everything kind of the ski the Blizzard Canvas 108 is your style of ski, if you want something a little more directional and less forgiving you want to go more towards the Blizzard Rustler Skis.

The Canvas freeski collection uses a poplar and paulownia set up in order to keep a more uniform flex through the ski and stay a bit lighter.

The core is then sandwiched with two layers of fiberglass with uni-directional carbon stripes, which help to add energy and rebound and keep the ski poppy. There's a small strip of Titanal that runs from the ski's tip to tail with the sole purpose of keeping the rocker profile, but doesn't add any stiffness, dampening, or torsional effects.

So, how does the Blizzard Canvas ski feel and what is it best for? It's playful, fun, and floaty, said athlete Caite Zeliffe, who tested the final prototype this past summer in Portillo, Chile. This ski breaks away from the classic hard-charging approach that Blizzard is known for and brings an entirely new style of ski to the Blizzard line.
