The K2 Mindbender 88 W Ti 2027 Women's Skis are stiff, nimble, and reactive. Narrow-waisted for maximum edge-to-edge quickness, and perfectly blended tip and tail rocker technology for predictive and precise turn initiation, consistent turn release, and impressive edge hold. Built for women who like to carve, the Mindbender 88 W is the most frontside-leaning ski in K2's redesigned women's freeride lineup for 2027. An 88mm waist sits at a versatile point for resort skiing, and K2 pairs it with the new Dark Matter and Titanal I-Beam construction plus Stance Forward geometry for women-specific shape and flex tuning. If you want a ski that is a little quicker edge to edge with a tighter turn radius than that of the Blizzard Black Pearl 88 Skis you should really be looking at the all new K2 Mindbender 88 W Skis for 2027!
K2 Skis Take: For women who love the carve. The 88 W is light, fast, and ready to rip. Dark Matter dampens chatter, Titanal I-Beam brings control. Turn & Burn.
TITANAL I-BEAM: The Titanal I-Beam is K2's proprietary ski construction technology designed to distribute metal exactly where it is needed for precision and power without adding unnecessary weight in the center
Dark Matter Tech: K2 Dark Matter Tech (DMT) is a specialized construction material developed by K2 Skis used to absorb vibrations and eliminate high-frequency chatter in all-mountain and freeride skis. It provides the stability and dampening typically found in heavy metal sheets, but without the excess weight. Instead of using full sheets of metal or traditional alloys, K2 engineers created a proprietary composite material consisting of polyurethane (PU/TPU) injected with stainless steel powder. This material is molded into "pucks" or targeted mass weights that are strategically placed along the ski's edges, directly over the tips and tails.
