About Al's Ski Barn
Al's Ski Barn is a family owned business of dedicated skiers with over 40 years experience in the ski industry retail and wholesale business. Al's Ski Barn acquires its inventory in several ways, striving to get top quality equipment at the lowest prices possible in order to pass our savings along to our customers. The equipment is brand new, unless otherwise noted, and meets all current safety standards. Some of the equipment is prior seasons models with older cosmetics offered at substantial savings. Most of the equipment is backed by the manufacturer's warranty with the exception of some of the older inventory.
The inventory is constantly changing as we purchase liquidations and closeouts and receive shipments from our suppliers. Extremely hot items have been known to sell out in only a few days as quantities may be limited. Should you see something you want - order it quickly to avoid disappointment should the item sell out. If you don't see what you want or have questions about a listed product, please ask us. Our goal is to provide the customer with the right equipment at the best price.

Our Policies
Returns and Exchanges
Our staff understands that at times your purchase may need to be returned or exchanged for various reasons. We try to make this process simple for you but we do have conditions that must be followed.
Purchases may be returned for an exchange or refund for any reason as long as Al's Ski Barn is notified by either phone (877-865-0740) or email via our contact form, for a Return Authorization Number within 10 days of receipt. The product needs to be in its original "new" condition, in it's original factory packaging with all instructions, tags, and accessories. Items returned not meeting these conditions could be charged, at the discretion of our staff, a minimum re-stocking fee of $25 or deemed ineligible for return and customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs.
All returns must be received back in our warehouse within 20 days of original receipt date. All returns are for exchange or credit via the original method of payment. All credits are issued within 1-3 business days upon receipt at Al's, and you will be notified by email of the credit; though once credit is issued, it takes 3-4 days to appear on your statement due to processing delays of the credit card companies. Credits are for the original purchase price less original shipping, if applicable. A restocking fee of up to 25% will be charged on all skis that were mounted by us and returned for credit or exchange, that do not involve an integrated binding system (i.e. we had to drill to mount the bindings) or any item returned beyond the above stated timeframes. All packages refused by customers will be charged the return shipping charges and customers are responsible for all return shipping charges to Al's. Non system skis mounted by another shop are not eligible for return/exchange. System skis that have been mounted by our staff are subject to a restocking free of $30 if being returned for a refund. Returned product that qualified for free shipping is subject to original shipping charges. In the event of shipping errors by Al's, a pre-paid return label will be supplied to you for the return shipment. Every Manufactuer is responsible for the length they determine their skis to be, and every brand does it differently even with in the same model. Manufacturers also reserve the right to change graphic according to size and they may also, (in an effort to reduce, reuse, recycle) use opposite color base material from what they show in their catalogue.
FREE SHIP items that are returned for credit may or may not be charged the original shipping costs of the items returned depending on circumstances.
Extended return times can be made for Gift Purchases, by prior arrangements with our staff. Please contact them by either phone (877-865-0740) or email via our contact form, to make those arrangements.
Insurance is recommended on all items being returned, all damage or loss of items during shipping is the responsibility of the customer making the return.
In the event of an exchange we will make every effort to ship the replacement product the day we receive the product being returned, and notify you of the tracking information for the replacement by email.

We invite you to join our mailing list. We will not share your email address with any other company or organization; it will not be sold. The purpose of the Mailing List is to enable us to inform you when we offer specials and sales: as well as when we add new equipment to these pages. We Respect your privacy and will do everything to protect it, including storing all information in a secure database.
Shipping
Al's Ski Barn offers FREE SHIPPING within the continental US for all orders totaling $45 or more. For multiple items under $45 Al's Ski Barn may charge a $5 Shipping and Handling charge per item. Al's Ski Barn may ship smaller items via the US Postal Service. Actual shipping charges to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand apply to those orders. Those placing international orders are responsible for all taxes and duties that your country may charge. All quotes given are for shipping with in the US unless otherwise noted and do not include sales tax if being shipped within the State of Maine. Quotes are good for one week from the time we give the quote and are subject to change.
Most orders are shipped within 48 hours of receipt of order. An email confirmation is automatically generated and sent to you upon placement of order. Likewise you will receive an email when order is shipped containing the tracking information (if applicable). You can track the status of your order at anytime, including shipping information, by using our "Order Tracking" page.
If there is any delay in shipping, you will be notified as soon as possible
International Shipping
We offer international shipping to Canada, The United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. Payment must be made by PayPal, a credit card with a U.S. billing address, or by special arrangement. Brands that we can not ship outside the United States include, but are not limited to; K2 Skis, Line Skis, and Full Tilt Boots. We are unable to ship some product overseas and unable to ship to certain countries. We will quote shipping costs (not duties, tarrifs, etc) by email. All dities/taxes are the responsibility of the buyer upon receiving the goods. Contact your local customs agent to find out what these fees may include, if any. To inquire, let us know which items you wish to purchase, including size, and your Country and Postal Code. We will respond with a shipping quote. Should you like to order, we will email you the procedure and form for International Purchase and Shipping. As for warranty returns you are responsible for all shipping costs back to us and back to you.
International shipment will be by DHL Express.
