For the money the 2011 K2 Lock Jaw Carbon Alu Probe ski poles are an excellent choice for both slack country and back country skiing. The ultimate pole for the weight conscious BackSide skier. Uses the Lock Jaw mechanism to build a light weight Aluminium/Carbon adjustable pole. Carbon fiber lowers connect to create a 188cm or 218cm probe pole depending on the length of the pole. This adventure pole comes with the BackSide specific rubber overmold grip.
