K2 for the 2009-2010 ski season has unleashed the all-white alpine ninja! The K2 Silencer is an all-terrain ski that can handle the whole mountain as well as it does in the park. The Silencer's cap construction creates a feather-light and slightly more forgiving feel than that of the K2 EXT. The 80mm footprint gives it quickness edge to edge with additional hard snow performance and the fir core keeps it nice and snappy for pop off jumps or riding pipe.

Mounting Point Thank you for your purchase of the Freestyle/Freeride skis. K2 and Volkl offers a variety of mounting points on the skis in their factory collection. They range from a factory suggested mid-sole mark to core center. The distance between the two is 7cm. This is the way it works, the more park skiing you do, the further ahead you want to be. The more freeride skiing you do the closer to the mid-sole mark you should be. Most of our customers have gone to +3cm from mid-sole for a good combination of freeride and freestyle.
