The 2012 Line Celebrity Skis are the same as the 2011 version except the 2012 version has a very slight Early Rise Tip which makes for a little easier turn initiation. If you want to save some money don't be afraid to buy last years skis as it is not a huge difference, but for those of you who want all the help they can get it is not a bad option to get the tip rocker. With a very lightweight construction and no metal the 2012 Line Celebrity 90 Skis have a much livelier & forgiving feel over the Line Celebrity 100 Skis. If you want a ski with more power and stability at higher speed and on steeper terrain the Line Celebrity 100 is where you want to go. If you want something closer to the 90 waist but with metal then you may want to consider the Volkl Kenja Skis.
