Based off the 2011 S6, the all new 2012 Rossignol Sickle Skis have earned a place in the S Series of skis as being the most versatile mix of everything. At 110mm in the waist the 2012 Rossignol Sickle Skis will not only float in deep snow and spin off backcountry booters, but thanks to Extended Sidecut the ski will also carve trenches on groomers. The Spin Turn Rocker is what gives the '12 Rossignol Sickle its playfulness and ability to spin with ease and power.

Extended Sidecut: Extended Sidecut continues beyond contact point where tip and tail rocker start. As speeds and edge angles increase more sidecut is engaged for powerful full-length edge grip. At lower speeds and edge angles sidecut is less engaged for more maneuverability and ease.

Spin Turn Rocker: 100% full rocker shaped like a banana with no camber underfoot. Makes ski playful, easy to spin, and adds pop, energy, and float in deep powder.

Mounting Point Thank you for your purchase of the Freestyle/Freeride skis. K2 and Volkl offers a variety of mounting points on the skis in their factory collection. They range from a factory suggested mid-sole mark to core center. The distance between the two is 7cm. This is the way it works, the more park skiing you do, the further ahead you want to be. The more freeride skiing you do the closer to the mid-sole mark you should be. Most of our customers have gone to +3cm from mid-sole for a good combination of freeride and freestyle.
