Volkl made some of the biggest changes in their line up of skis for 2012 and that is purely evident but the all new 2012 Volkl Shiro Skis. Designed after the Volkl Kuro and the 2012 Volkl Shiro Skis are a narrower version designed for more versatility in variable snow conditions. With a 115mm waist the Volkl Shiro Skis are not only designed for Big Mountain skiing but also for finding all those stashes at your local resort. With Full ELP Rocker the '12 Volkl Shiro Skis will float in the deepest of snow with ease while the Carbon in the ski allows for aggressive turns on and off piste. If you enjoyed the Volkl Kuro and want something narrower here is your chance to get that same great feel you love in a more versatile option.

ELP Full Rocker is a smooth, gradual bend from tip to tail with matching sidecut and flex. ELP gives the skier all the benefits of added maneuverability in soft snow while also delivering smooth, graceful arcs on groomed terrain. The great thing about the Shiro on groomers is the more you put the ski on edge, the more effective the whole edge becomes thanks to the ELP Rocker Design.
