Eric Pollard is known as one of the top ten influential skiers of all time and a large reason for that is thanks to his incredible vision that he has for the sport both the skiing and designing aspect. Eric has progressed the sport more than anyone since the late Shane McConkey. With his revolutionary designs such as the Elizabeth, EP Pro, Sir Francis Bacon to now the most revolutionary ski that Eric has ever created the 2012 Mr. Pollard's Opus Skis.
Eric has squeezed all of his knowledge & experience gained over the past 13 years developing skis with Line engineers & riding pow to create his Opus. Once again making the previously impossible, even more possible in pow.
We at Al's Ski Barn get to test skis in advance of purchasing and when it came to the 2012 Line Mr. Pollard's Opus Skis was one of out top 3 favorite. Once Adam got on them it was over, he never took them off and was found skiing everything from powder, ice, bumps, crud, corn but most often you found him making laps in the trees just killing it. If there is one thing he would change it is he would like it to be made in a 192cm length, this is rumored to be coming out for 2013!! Don't be afraid to get the 185cm length in this ski, because of the design it has the agility of a short ski with the stability of a stiff ski. At 5'6" and 185lbs Adam would not even come close to considering anything shorter than the 185cm length. Remember a 17.2m turn radius in the 185cm length is all the versatility you need!
This ski package comes with the Marker Griffon Ski Bindings. Both Skis and Bindings are brand new and when you give your boot size below we will also mount them free of charge.
